Please let me first apologize for writing this in english, but I am from Germany and unfortunately, I do not speak turkish. I would also like to apologize if my posting does not fit into this category of your forum, but as I do not understand turkish, I was only able to take a wild guess as to the meaning of the corresponding descriptions.
I am addressing you because I need help in finding a missing classmate from elemantary school in Germany who is now assumed to live in the area of Istanbul. Her name is "Selden Kurt" (her family name may have changed due to marriage) and she used to live in Germany until she returned to turkey in 1986. What I know of her is that she studied architecture and that her father is an architect, too. This is why I already contacted the "Chamber of Architects of Turkey" (() in order to find her, but they have not responded so far.
Selden Kurt should be around 33 years of age today. I have uploaded a photo of her which was taken in 1984, when she finished 4th grade of elementary school "Insel Schuett" in Nuremberg, Germany:
I am running out of ideas how to find her, and thsi is especially difficult from here in Germany, where I do not have any access to newspapers, radio stations, universities or authorities in the area of Istanbul.
Can anyone of you help me find her? I appreciate any help!
