Starcraft was unable to swicth video modes. To correct this problem please set Desktop Area to 640 x 480 and Color Palette to 256 colors and try running Starcraft again.
For Windows95 and windows NT
Select "Settings - Control Panel" from the "Start" menu
Run the "Display" control panel applet
Select the "Settings" tab
Set the "Desktop Area" to "640 x 480" pixels"
Set "Color Palette" to 256 colors
If your video card does not support 256 color mode, you will need to install the most recent DirectX video drivers for your video card.
